Reindeer hide by north

If the hide becomes wet, dry it slowly at a low indoor temperature. Brush with a soft brush if necessary. Shake it if needed to remove dust or loose debris. Some hairs will come loose over time. This is natural and continues throughout the hide’s lifespan.

Note! The hide is NOT silicone-treated, which can lead to it becoming wet if placed on damp ground.

You can use the hide indoors as decoration on a wall or similar. If you place it on the floor and walk on it, more hairs will come loose, but this is not a problem as long as you understand that indoor warmth contributes to this. The best place to store the hide when not in use is somewhere with a lower temperature than normal indoor temperature, such as in your basement or garage. This helps maintain the hide’s good condition since it thrives better in a cooler environment.

Reindeer hides are also excellent for use under a horse’s saddle. Because the reindeer’s fur creates an insulating and pressure-equalizing effect, it is perfect for sensitive horses. The fur also repels moisture and is soft and comfortable against the horse’s back.

This is B-grade. B-grade hides may have insect bites on the skin, minor holes from the tanning process, or similar “defects.” However, these are typically seen on the backside. When lying on a sofa or floor as usual, they are beautiful, and this is generally how reindeer hides are.
